If your child is struggling in the academic setting, an Academic/Learning Disability evaluation, is the next step in clarifying diagnoses, such as dyslexia/reading disorder, dyscalculia/math disorder, and other school related deficits. Additionally, I can assess for intellectual disabilities and/or developmental delays, which can negatively impact students in the classroom setting. This can lead to determining if an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 Plan is applicable. Additionally, I can assess for giftedness for students if you are looking to obtain clarification regarding IQ and overall cognitive functioning.
